Research Interests
Tom Snell is a Research Officer within PSSRU at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Tom's research interests include social care targeting and financing, the economic evaluation of preventative care services and local variations in levels of social care need and service provision.
Tom is currently involved in evaluations of local authority schemes piloting preventative care services, an analysis of historical patterns of care targeting in England and a series of studies investigating the impact of the 2014 Care Act among local authorities and adults with long-term care needs.
Prior to joining the LSE Tom worked at the King's Fund as a member of the Wanless Social Care Review team.
