Abstract
This interim report is intended to provide a description of (roughly) the first twelve months of Pioneer development, drawing out some of the similarities and differences between the sites, the barriers they are encountering in their ambitious attempts to integrate health and social care services, and the approaches they are taking to overcome these barriers.
