| InterestsRoshni is an economist, working in the area of health economics for many years now and has teaching and research experience in both India and the UK. Prior to joining the PSSRU, she worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Warwick as well as with the PSSRU at Kent and LSE branches since 1997. Roshni has also worked as consultant to Pharmaceutical companies in the UK and to the Economist’s Advisory Group, London.
Main interests are in equity issues relating to general and mental health, measurement of inequalities, economic evaluation of health care interventions, cost of illness studies, econometric modelling of health care utilisation behaviour and methodological developments in quantitative analysis of health-related data. She is currently working on equity in mental health in the UK, focussing on mental health of ethnic minorities and has recently completed a PhD thesis on this subject. Back |
