Shared Lives Week

This week, from the 13th to 19th October, is Shared Lives Week. Shared Lives Plus’ CEO, Alex Fox, discusses their theme for this year’s awareness week – Living Good Lives.

Shared Lives offers family-based care and support and our research has shown that it can offer good outcomes for some groups of older people, and that there is support for the expansion of these services. Read our previous blog for further details on these research findings and Alex Fox’s blog on this also. Since these blog posts, early findings have been published in the Journal of Care Services Management.

Our work with Shared Lives has also featured in our recent Research In Brief publication that we produced to mark our 40 years providing high quality health and social care research.
