The ASCOT team offer bespoke training courses tailored to the needs of organisations planning to use ASCOT. The following bespoke training courses are available (to enquire regarding trainers’ availability and to book a course, please email enterprise@kent.ac.uk).
Introduction to ASCOT (1 day).
- This course covers the basic concepts behind ASCOT and the ways in which it can be used in research and practice. Our experienced trainers will deliver the course at your organisation. They will tailor the content of the course to suit the needs of your organisation.

Using the mixed-methods care home version of ASCOT (CH3) (2 days).
- Our experienced trainers will deliver the course at your organisation and it will be tailored to your organisation’s needs. The course is of particular benefit to organisations who wish to train a large number of staff members in using the care home version of ASCOT. This ASCOT instrument uses a mixed-methods approach, and a bespoke training course is highly recommended to facilitate the correct way of using the tool and to fully unlock its potential for your organisation.

Measuring the outcomes of carers (1 day).
- Our experienced trainers will be available to deliver the course at your organisation. The content of the course will be tailored to the needs of your organisation.
