New Versions of ASCOT

New Versions of ASCOT (Monday 15th June 11.00 -12.00)

The webinar focussed on new versions of ASCOT that are being developed by the ASCOT team and colleagues. The first presentation, by Ann-Marie Towers, provided an overview of the findings of an NIHR SSCR-funded study exploring the demand for a care home quality measure based on ASCOT. As well as giving a summary of stakeholders’ views and presenting the draft measure, she outlined our plans to test it with one local authority quality improvement team in the South East of England. Stacey Rand, the second speaker, provided an overview of the development, application and interpretation of the Adult Social Care Outcome Toolkit for Carers interview (ASCOT-Carer INT4). The ASCOT-Carer INT4 is part of the ASCOT toolkit and is a measure of social care-related quality of life of unpaid carers.
